Hasbro Announces Alternate Art ‘Marvel Super Hero’ Figures And Cards
Hasbro announced a new line of Marvel Legends action figures featuring alternate Magic the Gathering cards featuring the new figures.
Coming off the release of the Marvel Super Heroes set from Magic the Gathering, the new figures are based on specific comic book variants of some of Marvel Comics’ biggest names. In addition to coming with several accessories like alternate hands and heads, each figure comes with an alternate art card featuring the character’s variant appearance. Each of the Magic the Gathering cards were previously a part of the Commander deck releases.
MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES MARVEL SUPER HEROES MAGIC: THE GATHERING BLACK PANTHER focuses on the Black Panther from Secret Wars, wielding the impressive Infinity Gauntlet. The alternate art card is T’Challa, the Black Panther.
MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES MARVEL SUPER HEROES MAGIC: THE GATHERING CAPTAIN AMERICA brings us the Captain America variant from Avengers: Twilight. The alternate art card is Captain America, Team Leader.
MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES MARVEL SUPER HEROES MAGIC: THE GATHERING DOOM 2099 brings the spotlight to the version of Doctor Doom seen in the Doom 2099 series. The alternate art card is Doctor Doom, King of Latveria.
MARVEL LEGENDS SERIES MARVEL SUPER HEROES MAGIC: THE GATHERING MALICE (SUE STORM) brings the villainous persona of the Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman to the forefront. The alternate art card is Invisible Woman.
The figure’s go up for preorder via the Hasbro Pulse website on August 13, 2026.
